In 2014, Laura Owens briefly crossed paths with Victim 0, after which she asserted that she was carrying his child, though she provided no substantiating evidence for her claim. Subsequently, Laura initiated a paternity lawsuit against Victim 0. In response, he engaged a lawyer, who, notably, was herself pregnant at the time. The lawyer advised Laura to consult her own obstetrician-gynecologist. Promptly, Laura withdrew her lawsuit and, within a fortnight, reported having suffered a miscarriage.
Laura Owens was in a three-way motor vehicle accident while riding as passenger in an Uber. She subsequently sued all parties: Her Uber driver, the other driver, and Uber itself. The outcome of the case isn’t publicly known, though Laura has shared privately that she “made out well.”

In December 2020, Laura Owens and her mother Elizabeth Naylor/Jan Black hired Lone Cactus Fence & Welding to build horse facilities on their Arizona home property. On August 27, 2021, Owens filed a civil complaint against Lone Cactus for t 9, 2021. Unfortunately, the court ruled in favor of Laura and Jan in March 2023. Lone Cactus experienced a significant revenue decline exceeding $100,000 as a result of this lawsuit, compounded by the damaging impact of negative word-of-mouth by Laura and Jan, as they shared their grievances with acquaintances and associates.

While not much is known publicly about Victim 2019, it is clear Laura Owens victimized him. She claimed at least one false pregnancy with him. After he backed out of an apartment lease with Laura, she moved within 10 minutes of his family two years later.

Dave Neal is a content creator and journalist who has been covering Clayton Echard’s story since September 2023. Due to his coverage of the case, Laura filed filed for a Civil Harassment Restraining Order against him on November 1, 2023. The case was settled outside of court.

Beginning in September 2023, Laura has harassed several other content creators, reporting their videos, sending cease and desist letters, posing as a fabricated ex-boyfriend of her own, making false copyright claims, and even contacting a creator’s local police department.
Laura has made false copyright and other claims against the YouTube channels for Dave Neal, Megan Fox, SchnitzelNinja, Lauren Neidigh, Law Talk With Mike, and others. Laura’s lawyer, David S Gingras, has joined in on the fun, making a false copyright claim against Lauren Neidigh in November 2024.
Several other victims (male and female) have come forward privately to discuss their abuse at the hands of Laura Michelle Owens. Out of fear of retaliation from Laura, they’ve chosen to stay anonymous.
During his time representing Greg Gillespie against Laura Michelle Owens, lawyer Gregg Woodnick, along with Greg Gillespie, was accused by Laura of orchestrating a rape she claimed to have experienced. No evidence was provided by Laura to the court of this alleged claim. It is widely believed Laura fabricated this claim to intimidate both Mr. Woodnick and Mr. Gillespie.
